Effective date: October 22, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use SUDOKU BLOX – Brain Training (also referred to as “Sudoku Blox,” “the App,” or “we/us/our”).
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
1) Summary (TL;DR)
- We designed the App to be enjoyed without creating an account.
- By default, we do not collect information that directly identifies you.
- Your game progress is saved on your device (and may also be backed up by Apple if you use iCloud backups on your device).
- We do not sell your data.
- If we add optional services (e.g., analytics, ads, crash reporting, Game Center), we will only use them to improve the App and will update this policy and the App Store “Privacy Nutrition Label” accordingly.
Important: Some information may be processed by Apple to operate the App, deliver purchases, or provide platform features (e.g., iCloud, App Store receipts, Game Center). Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s own policies and your device settings.
2) Information We Process
A) Information you provide directly
- The App does not require registration and does not ask you to enter personal information.
B) Information processed automatically (minimal, for core functionality)
- Gameplay state & settings. Stored locally on your device to keep track of levels, scores, and preferences.
- Device-level backups. If you enable iCloud backups, Apple may store a backup of the App’s local data as part of your device backup.
C) Optional services we may use (if enabled)
If any of these services are enabled in a future update, we will update this policy and our App Store disclosures. Some SDKs may collect device identifiers, usage information, crash logs, or coarse location for legitimate purposes like analytics, error diagnostics, or advertising.
- Analytics (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Apple App Analytics): Helps us understand usage patterns to improve difficulty balancing, performance, and features. We do not use analytics to personally identify you.
- Crash reporting (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics): Provides error reports so we can fix bugs and improve stability.
- Advertising (e.g., AdMob/AppLovin/Unity Ads): If we introduce ads, the ad network may process device identifiers to deliver and measure ads. Where required, we will request your consent via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before enabling tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.
- Game Center (Apple): If you sign in to Game Center, Apple may process your Game Center profile and gameplay-related data to provide leaderboards/achievements. We do not control your Game Center profile and do not receive your account credentials.
- In‑App Purchases (Apple): If purchases are offered, Apple processes payment information. We receive non-personal receipts/validation results to unlock content.
3) Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)
Where applicable under the GDPR/UK GDPR, we rely on: (i) performance of a contract (to provide the App), (ii) legitimate interests (e.g., app security, fraud prevention, crash diagnostics), and/or (iii) consent (e.g., for advertising trackers where required).
4) How We Use Information
- Operate and improve core gameplay (e.g., puzzle generation, difficulty tuning).
- Secure the App, diagnose issues, and prevent fraud or misuse.
- (If applicable) Provide leaderboards/achievements through Game Center.
- (If applicable) Show ads or measure ad performance, subject to your choices.
We do not sell personal data.
5) Sharing of Information
We do not share personal information with third parties except:
- Service Providers/SDKs: To operate optional features (analytics, ads, crash reporting). These providers act on our instructions.
- Legal/Compliance: Where required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and property.
We do not knowingly allow third parties to use data for their own independent marketing unless you provide consent where required.
6) Data Retention
- Local game data remains on your device until you delete the App (and any device backups).
- Diagnostics/analytics (if enabled) are retained only as long as necessary to achieve the purposes above, after which they are deleted or de‑identified.
7) Your Choices & Rights
- Device settings: You can reset or delete game data by uninstalling the App. Manage iCloud backups in your device settings.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT): If ad tracking is ever introduced, iOS will prompt you to allow or deny tracking. You can change this later in iOS Settings.
- Notifications: If the App supports notifications, you can toggle them in iOS Settings.
- Jurisdictional rights: Depending on your region (e.g., EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. To exercise rights, contact us (see Contact below). We will verify your request and respond as required by law.
We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights.
8) Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10) International Transfers
If optional services are enabled, information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection for such transfers.
